HEPA Air Scrubber with 600 CFM and GFCI Daisy-Chain Outlet
The XPOWER X-3400A pulls 600 CFM through a 3-stage filtration system — washable nylon mesh, pleated media, and a 2-inch-thick HEPA50 filter capturing 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns — while drawing only 2.8 amps from a 1/2 HP external rotor induction motor. Variable speed from 850 to 2,900 RPM, built-in GFCI outlet for daisy-chaining multiple units, and a filter change indicator light complete the package. ETL/CETL certified, stackable, 28.8 lbs. Xactimate code: AQRS.
Motor, Filtration & Daisy-Chain Specs
- 600 CFM at 2.8 A draw — delivers mold remediation airflow without tripping 15-amp circuits on shared breakers
- 2-inch-thick HEPA50 filter (16" × 16") — captures particles down to 0.3 microns at 99.97% efficiency
- 3-stage filtration — NFS16 washable mesh pre-filter, PF16 pleated media, then HEPA50 in sequence
- GFCI built-in outlet — link multiple X-3400A units in a single circuit run for large containment zones
- Variable speed 850–2,900 RPM — lower speeds preserve filter life during maintenance phases; high speed for active remediation
- Filter change indicator light — signals when HEPA requires replacement without manual pressure gauge checks
- Stackable ABS injection-mold housing — units stack for restoration van transport; 13-ft cord keeps units close to the work area
Remediation & Construction Applications
Water damage restoration contractors use the X-3400A in mold remediation containment zones where IICRC S520 requires HEPA-filtered negative air machines — the 600 CFM rating and ductable exhaust port support containment chamber negative pressure in rooms up to 1,000 square feet. Construction and renovation crews run it to capture drywall and tile cutting dust during occupied-building remodels. HVAC system cleaning technicians use it to capture airborne particulate during duct cleaning operations. Asbestos abatement contractors operating under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1101 requirements use HEPA air scrubbers as part of the regulated decontamination unit setup.
