This 5-Piece steel file set includes the most popular types of files for deburring, trimming, smoothing and shaping making it a great set for steel craftwork and fabrication. These fine tooth files are constructed from T12 carbon steel with hardness 60 ~ 67Hrc to provide durability and wear resistance to create a consistent finish

The set includes five double-cut files ranging from a flat file, a half-round file, a triangle file and a square file; featuring a double-cut tooth pattern. A double-cut file clears material faster than single-cut pattern files. 

Each file has a purpose:

• Round files are designed for deburring and removing material from inside surfaces
• Flat file is designed to remove material on flat and other surfaces 
• Half-round is great for removing material on flat and curved surfaces
• Triangular file is designed to remove material when working on angles, corners and grooves
