Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policies

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receipt of the product. Partial refunds may be considered for requests initiated after 7 days but no later than 30 days from receipt, at the sole discretion of Garage Gear Direct. All refunds, exchanges, and store credits are issued at the sole discretion of GGD. Defective or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and shipped back within 7 days of approval. All returns and exchanges are subject to the supplier's restocking fee plus GGD's restocking and administrative fee of 25%–45% where applicable.
Eligible regions
Continental United States only. The following are excluded: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and all APO/FPO addresses.
Return shipping
All return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the error was made by GGD or the supplier. Use a trackable method (UPS or FedEx). Items must be shipped back within 7 days of receiving return approval.
To be eligible, items must be
- Unused, undamaged, and in original condition
- In original packaging with all labels and tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order number)
- Not listed under Non-Returnable Items
To initiate a return or exchange
- Email Info@GarageGearDirect.com or call (970) 699-4343 within 7 days of receipt
- Provide your order number, reason for return, and photos of the item and packaging
- GGD will review your request — approval is not guaranteed
- If approved, we will provide return instructions and RMA number if applicable
- Package securely with all accessories included and ship within 7 days of approval
Scenario-specific rules
- Change of mind: Within 7 days of receipt. Subject to all restocking fees. Refund, exchange, or store credit at GGD's sole discretion
- Defective or damaged: Report within 48 hours with photos. Ship back within 7 days of approval. Resolution at GGD's discretion
- Wrong item received: Contact GGD immediately. Resolution at GGD's discretion
- Lost in transit: Contact GGD if item doesn't arrive within estimated window. Replacement or refund at GGD's discretion if confirmed lost by carrier
- Order cancellation before shipment: Contact GGD immediately. Once shipped, standard return process applies
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
- Clearance, open box, or final sale items
- Used or installed items
- Special or custom orders
- Incomplete items or items with damaged/incomplete packaging
- Engine internals and uncrated items
- Solar panels and major power station equipment
- Construction, farming, or industrial equipment
- Electronics
- Batteries
- Lighting or light-emitting components
- Aerodynamic parts
- Mounted and balanced wheel & tire packages
- Products purchased with a financing option
- Gift cards and downloadable software
- Perishable goods
- Intimate or sanitary goods (unless unopened and unused)
Refund process
- All refunds are at the sole discretion of Garage Gear Direct and are not guaranteed
- Refunds are issued only after GGD and the supplier receive and inspect the returned item
- You will be notified by email of the approval, denial, or partial approval of your refund
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 30–60 days of approval
- Your bank or card issuer may require additional processing time after GGD issues the refund
Partial refunds
- May be considered for requests initiated between 7 and 30 days of receipt, at GGD's sole discretion
- Subject to all applicable supplier and GGD restocking and administrative fees
- Not guaranteed — partial refund consideration does not constitute an obligation to issue one
Exchanges & store credit
- Exchanges may be requested for defective, damaged, or incorrect items — subject to GGD approval
- Store credit may be issued in lieu of a refund or exchange at GGD's discretion
- All returns, exchanges, and credits are subject to supplier restocking fees plus GGD's 25%–45% fee
- GGD covers return shipping only when the error is confirmed to be on our end or the supplier's end
