- Vertical measuring surface is at a 90° angle to the horizontal measuring surface – this allows vertical measurements to be taken with the horizontal vial.
- Strong rare-earth magnet system on floor and lateral measuring surface for adhesion to metal objects – leaves the hands free for alignment and adjustment.

- With original large-size STABILA precision vial – measuring accuracy in normal position is ± 1.0 mm/m.
